WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?
Surface, Visual Design & Creative Execution
Schuylark Design is a multidisciplinary creative practice centered on surface, visual storytelling, and execution. The work lives at the intersection of art, design, and production, where material, color, texture, and form all matter.
Rather than working within a single medium, projects are approached with an understanding of how something should look, feel, and function in the real world, whether it’s a sculptural object, visual graphic,
a printed piece, or a garment.

Surface & Finish
Surface work is a core part of the practice, informed by years of hands-on experience in painting, illustration, and fabrication.
This work involves hand-painted finishes for sculptural projects by internationally recognized artists, including Richard Prince, Huma Bhabha, and Joel Mesler, completed in collaboration with fabrication studios including RSM Custom, Glasson Sculpture Works, and KC Fabrication. These projects demand a high level of precision, consistency, and detail as an integral part of the final work.
In addition, surface and finish work has contributed to culturally significant public and institutional projects, including participation in the replication of an 8-foot Leonardo da Vinci horse for the Da Vinci Science Center, and surface detailing and finishing on the recreation of Anna Hyatt Huntington’s José Martí sculpture for Central Park, a public artwork gifted to the people of Cuba.

Visual Systems & Graphics
Graphic and visual design work extends the same sensitivity to surface into two-dimensional spaces.
Projects range from branding and print to apparel and environmental graphics for clients such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Discovery Channel, Entenmann’s, Target, and JCPenney. The focus is on creating visuals that are clear, cohesive, and aligned with brand intent, designed not just to look good, but to function effectively across platforms and applications.
Work is supported by extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong understanding of production-ready file setup, color management, and layout for both print and digital use. This technical fluency allows concepts to move smoothly from idea to execution while maintaining consistency and quality throughout the process.

Illustration & Painting
Hand drawing and painting are foundational skills that inform every project.
With formal training in illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design, work includes oil and acrylic painting, hand-rendered illustration, and concept development. These skills bring a tactile, human quality to both physical and printed surfaces, and ensure that each project begins with strong visual thinking before moving into execution.
—
Product & Apparel Production
A background in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology provides a production-aware approach to design.
Experience spans apparel, accessories, handbags, activewear, and licensed products, with work for brands including Mudd Jeans, Fila, Skechers, Foot Locker, Marvel Comics, Target, and JCPenney. This experience reinforces an understanding of repeat, scale, materials, and production constraints, knowledge that carries across all disciplines.

How We Work
Schuylark Design collaborates with brands, artists, institutions, and production teams who value craft, clarity, and thoughtful execution. Projects can begin at concept or plug into existing workflows, with the goal of delivering work that feels intentional, resolved, and well thought out.
If you’re looking for a collaborator who understands both craft and context, I’d love to talk.
